Hi guys,
It's been a long time since we've done our last post. Too long, if you ask me. We need stories. Go on, don't be shy. Email them our way, I'm pretty sure our readers would love that.
Apart from stories, I'm also looking for people joining me on my November-quest. Last year I first joined 'NaNoWriMo' aka National Novel Writing Month. It was hard, it was fun, it was aweful but oh so rewarding. Basically you write 1.667 words a day for 30 days in a row and end up with 50.000 words written. Perhaps you have followed my struggle on the forum last year. There were times when I didn't think I would make it, days that words just didn't seem to come. And then there were days when it went so easily that it almost had me convinced I could do twice the amount of words required.
This year, I'll be having another go. Lately my writing has been so slow, I want to pick it back up. Who's with me? Who's daring to go for 50.000 in one month? Who knows, we might even end up with more stories for the site!

Hi I'm in the middle of writing a story at the moment and was going to post it on this site. Howwever I don't have access to a computer is there anyway I could upload it from my iPad. Thanks in advance x
Hi,
I'm not an Apple-girl myself, so I'm not sure. We prefer getting the stories in Word or any other format that a windows-computer can open. Depending on the lenght of the story, you could also copy and paste it in an email I guess.

Thanks for letting us know, Knox. Looks like we had our host thinking our site was inactive and just shutting them down. We're back up and running now, the stories should be working again!
Thanks for getting back to me regarding using my iPad. It is quite a long story is there anyway I could post in chapters if that's alright once the story is completed. Thanks again and sorry for taking to long to get back to you x

I’ve been trying for a while to make some fic’s and that’s cool but somehow the difficulty is the “English” part. I always starting one and stop right there at the 4th or 5th pages because then i'm reading it again and thinking it’s boring and no one wants to read boring fic’s but I’m always a big dreamer and full with inspiration and somehow my writing blocks are full with story’s I’ve already added years ago some story’s but it was always a bit too easy and not really fitting in with all those story’s.
@Chantal; What's language do you speak? I feel your struggle. The best advice someone's ever given me is to read a lot and it helped me quite a bit. The main thing is that you enjoy what you're doing. The more you practice, the better you'll get. And hopefully you get to that point where you dare to share one day!
And believe me when I say, I have tons of pads filled with scribbles that will never see the light of day. But eventually some of them did lead to stories (though lately I seem to totally suck at finishing something yet again haha)

Yeah its awesome I'm still even when they split up always in a westlife mood to bad my friend with who I always wrote story's is over them I still hate her for that fact :)
Ah Chantal, I'm sure your fics aren't boring. I felt that way too but Monique convinced me to send something in and people were nice about it and didn't my story sucked when compared to all the other stories on here, it really does!
No, I'm sure your's are great. If there is one piece of advice someone gave me once that I think about all the time, it's "if you're not confident about your story, start with a shortish one, and then build to longer ones from there."
I should start doing that again, maybe one day I'll actually finish something. HA! But anyway, don't be shy, send it in, I'd love to read it :)
