Guess who's back with a new story? It's Kara! And it's a long one too. 225 pages of vampire-goodness. I'm sure you're going to love this!
We're kicking off with the first chapter today. You'll find it in the link below. Over the next few weeks we'll add to the story. I am glad everybody seems to be enjoying my beloved Fangy Shane... although you're just getting to know him.
It was such a pleasure writing this story and this characters. It was as thrilling as it was nerve-wrecking.
I am currently working on another fic, but I have Fangy Shane withdrawals. I fell in love with these characters soo sooo much and that story was with me for so long (thanks Monique for sticking with me all this time *cyber hug*) Do come back and check out the updates because there is so much to come... I hope you bear with me, it's a huge-ass story.

@ng; Don't worry about that, Kara has finished the story and all of it is scripted and ready ;) We'll keep updating at least twice a week, if all goes to plan.

I was going to talk about how much I love this story still. How very much I enjoyed re-reading it as I do updates. How I enjoy finding new bits and pieces in between the old and how perfectly they fit. How brilliant a writer you are. And then this chapter happened....

Kara, you are freaking BRILLIANT! THIS story is how vampires should be written! The plot is so amazing, the characters are incredible and everything about it is intense yet sweet, loving, sad, compelling. There were numerous times I burst out laughing and even more times breaking down in tears. Especially that last chapter! This story is absolutely incredible.
I have always have loved your writing, but you truly have outdone yourself with one. It's going to be really sad once it's over. Haha

I fell behind a bit with this one and got to read a huge big chunk of it. I seriously love this. Every update brings something else that I'm all "YES! BRILLIANT!" at. (I actually have said stuff like that to my computer, my cat thinks I'm nuts...)

Well, I feel you guys... completely.
When I finished writing this story I didn´t know what else to do. It is still on my mind all the time. Definitely one of my favorite stories to write, even if it's not on my favorite genre.
I miss Fangy Shane!
Please add the final chapter, don't think i can wait much longer, it's been my favourite story thats ever been on this site. Inspired me to start writing myself now, although I don't think I'm very good & not sure if anyone would be willing to help me write it.. x

Like you guys say not all the stories can end in a happy ending... or can they?
I am so, so, so, so glad (and a bit sorry LOL) that you all have enjoyed BMTL and have stuck around to get through that ending. It was heart-wrenching having to write it, I kid you not. This story was a daunting challenge from beginning to end, it took me like six months to write it.
I read someone has been inspired by this fic to go on and write her own fics... *scrolls up furiously* Hi Sophie!!!! That is the best compliment I have ever received, really.
And... yes, Monique is evil. you will see... hahahaha... but, you know what? I did the same thing to her, poor thing.
Don't be too sad about Fangy Shane's demise... I know I am not *wink*.

I ended up going to be at 5AM and spent all of today wondering how on Earth did it all finish! LOL Can't wait to read the sequel, the excerpt was just amazing!! :D
I ended up in tears... Seriously blabbing like a baby... Because I'm a citizen of Denial City o would like to pretend that my lover vampire is alive and well somewhere and that my Slayer brother is lying to me so I can move on with my life. Thank you for taking the time to write this.
