What a fab story!! Really really enjoyed it, I'm a big fan of your writing style, esecially the scenes that showed any sort of intimacy won me over because they felt very honest. Keep it up :)
Anonymous; I had another look at this. Where does the story end for you? Coz if it's at 'He should have just pushed her up on her kitchen counter and saved the talking for later.' you've actually read all of the story. It might seem as a bit of an abrupt ending though, so maybe that's it? If not, do tell :)

Aw, thanks guys! I'm so glad you like this little story :) I can see why some of you are unsatisfied with the ending; it is rather abrupt. I think any third part would have to jump in time a bit and start when they're both back in London - at this point, there's nothing that could keep them together. What do you think? I gather some of you would like to get a little more out of this idea so I'm thinking about writing a sequel...

I've only just realised I've commented on this a couple of times to try and solve problems but not even to give you any praise, Claire! Sorry bout that... I suck! haha
I've really enjoyed reading it, the leading characters have a great chemistry. Such a shame that in the end she didn't seem to recognize it as such... :( I was kinda hoping for her to chance her mind and for Mark to work his magic a bit harder *cough* but no such luck... They could've had such a great thing together... *sigh* Sad stuff :(
