Seriously Bailey, it's such intelligent writing. The way you give away all these little pieces of the puzzle with every flashback. And every piece is surprising too! You can just feel the true love between them and the desperateness brewing and Shane's ultimate gesture in the end is both heartwarming and heartbreaking...
You already knew how much I love this but I'm saying it again; absolutely fuckin brilliant!!!

The love between them is so present I could almost graspe it in my hand.. Beautiful different story and hoping for a sequel to actually see how it could,let's say, all get better...

This was freaking awesome, Bailey... I try to do heartbreak, but it's just not in me, you know? I love my happy endings too much... but I just enjoyed reading this too much. Even when there was no happy ending!
It is very late, or should I say, very early right now... and I was going to bed but noticed the site had been updated and woah... was this a pleasant after dark treat!
Honestly, the banter between the lads had me laughing out loud all the time... I think I woke up the neighbors! It was hilarious... man, even better than some sitcoms on TV right now! The part with the lunges and Mark eating M&Ms, I almost peed my pants! Bwahahaha.
My fave lifer is Shane so that already gives you high marks from me. It was so well-written. The sequence... Ohhh, and I was in flashback heaven also... you even had me checking out the dates and everything.
I loved it, you have no idea how much! The fact that is 5.54 am and I am here should tell you so!

Literally held my breath trying to finish this story. It is so compelling, heartbreaking and loving it's hard to not feel what they are feeling. The ending is just absolutely heartbreaking. So completely well written.
This really is one of the most brilliant stories I have ever read.

Anne-marie, welcome aboard the Shane-train. Hopefully you'll stick around lol. As far as a sequel, to be honest I almost threw on an epilogue but in the end I couldn't do it. I didn't want it to take away from the gravity of it.
Kara, don't go checking the dates too much. If I finished this when I wanted to (years ago) the dates would have lined up with an actual tour. Yea, I spend too much time on Wikipedia. And I'm glad I made you laugh. I think I'm funny and make myself laugh all the time but I'm a little strange. Good to know its not just me!

Loved loved love this! Although the end is quite sad I'd still say there's a happy undertone. The ultimate gesture to prove how much you love someone. It was heartbreaking and heart warming all at the same time.
I loved how the flashbacks were written too, giving us a small glimpse into what happened that led to death of Jacob, I was secretly hoping that Jacobs gambling had caught up with him.
