Hey you guys!
It has been pretty silent around here, that is true.
But unfortunately Steffi has so much work to do that she is barely online and since I am working as well, the kiddo growing and a little one on the way (juppidu! Throwing confetti - not sacrastic of course!! ;)) we don't have much time for updates.
But, and that but is a big one: We also do not resceive many storys anymore. So if you wanna read some, go ahead and write! :)
We still got one update by Sarah and a friend and Bex spent a lot of time on that one to fix as much as possible and there is one other fic by Krissy (hey Krissy ;) that is still open and Monique offered her help. But for the last weeks this has been it more or less.
So maybe we can not only ask all of you to download the html-program nvu (it is free) and script your own fics to help us out, but also start collecting some new ideas and write fics! We will have another challenge soon but we are for now waiting for the results of the last challenge and so far it has been silent...
We also asked about new ideas, someone came up with an Angles-theme, someone with something that was called Borgia (like the pope from the 16th century I guess? Kalixt or Innocence, I wasnt sure).
What else do we have?
We thought about a wedding challenge once and still have another idea about including some actors, but what do you think? What would actually make you start writing a fic? Or reading it?

i think including some actors will be a good idea. and the Angels theme is good, too.
I like the wedding theme as Well and im working on stuff but Right now on Holiday and a huge congrats on ur pregnancy hun

And back to everyone: What else? I didnt want to ask only your opinion on two of the ideas. Actually I was hoping for you to come up with something you wanna write about...
Amy, Dina, angel theme... about what? how? any ideas for a challenge or any other writing project?
How should the wedding theme be put into fiction? or the actors?
And above it all: what are your ideas? is there something you always wanted to write about? what is interesting for you? What did you see, experience or read somewhere that makes you wanna put it into a westlife-fic?
Ideas, Thoughts?
I've always liked the idea of a new beginning after a break-up or a divorce or coming back because something else failed (job, dreams...) and starting a new life. Or a chance meeting, on holiday for example :) might be more lighthearted :)
I actually have a finished story, but it's pretty long... and I've never published anything here so I'm a little scared :) Writing on something shorter, too, though...

I'm guilty of being absent from here too, I think it's just because we finally have nice weather and most people are maybe enjoying it.
I've also lost my mojo a little but I do have about 5 of my own stories to script and send in, which I'll try to get round to.

btw, yes, Mrs Filan, the story will be up, Bex has put a lot of effort into the correction it would be a waste not to publish it. It got through, alright?
To everyone else: we are happy to hear that there are still writers out there and we hope for more nice fics! Long or short, nevermind :)
And we will also try to come up with new ideas, maybe mixed with some of the stuff you posted, but it is still not much. So whenever someone has an idea, dont hesitate to comment on this post again, I will check the comments from time to time.

I've had an idea! I may be thinking too big but let me know what u think.
How about we all club together and write a mini series?! I was thinking we could base the characters around one familiar place, ie a hotel the band stay in, maybe their record label, or even a holiday destination....then we each take a band member and intertwine the stories. So it's one massive story shown from each band members perspective, and within each story the writer can delve into their chosen band members own personal life.
I haven't got a clue if this will actually work (especially interactively!) if it does, it will mean a lot of conferring between writers and a lot of planning so everyone's on the same page....but I'm thinking that if maybe everyone seems to be lagging with writing recently then with the support from each other it will give us the boost we all need!

Just spotted that idea, Natalie. I quite love it! It's probably very very very complicated to actually arrange but I love stories like that that are linked through same events or persons
