Hey everyone,
something for you to remind when you're sending us your stories:

1) If you want to have your stories scripted by the staff, you need to give us all the information about each and every single name, nickname, eye colour ... that has to be scripted.

2) We have a site here on the blog, called story-writing, where all the rules about interpunction (quotation marks) are listed for you to check, but not only to check or cast a quick glance at it, but to use them on your stories.

Neither Noa or me have the time to correct every story or to check everything about the scripting. We want this site to work, but we need your help with it and you should begin with your own stories. So I ask everyone of you to check them. Everyone, also people whose English isn't the best, should be able to understand the fics on this site, for this it is necessary to use dots, quotation marks and commas. Please note that.

I don't want to be mean, but we really cannot use all of our free time to correct stories and search for things that need to be scripted and for this we won't script your story when you don't give us the necessary information and we won't put the story on the site if there are no quotation marks or dots etc. in the story.

Hey everyone, I just want to add a few words to Steffis post.

About story-writing and scripting... maybe also a few  suggestions...

Thank you for your offer, Bex, that would of course be great!! But you dont have to do it, I'm afraid it takes too much time... Maybe you could try and help co-reading a few fics if peolpe ask you to, but it shouldnt be a full time job, we need you as a writer :)
Maybe some of the fics are a little hard to read especially because of punctuation, but I think it is alright for the authors as well to publisch them as they are because we also dont want to interfere too much and almost re-write a story...

One more thing about the information about a story you submit:
We only need the information on the characters you actually wrote about, so if your "friend" for example is called Carla and she has long black hair and dark eyes, make sure that you give us the information for the scripting. BUT: only if it is used in the story. We had a few fics with information on characteristic features that the writer had in mind, but they didnt take place in the story, so Carla was only a name and actually had no hair- or eyecolour and I sat there doing ctrl F on Carla, black and dark, trying to script , , over and over again and it simply wasnt in the story. that is a little time consuming to be honest and I am always a little short in time :)
Also: If Carlas nickname is "C" we need to change that in the scripting process, because trust me, there are many C's in your fic...Maybe we could call her Cici or someting, because also something like "Ki" for Kian is hard to script, but mostly neccessay...

keep that and us poor scripters in mind when you write a fic, sometimes it is even better  - from the writers point of view - NOT to use "blue" as an eyecolour all the time... think of different words that maybe also spice up your writing a little. Eyes can be amazing, increddible, maybe beautiful or mesmerizing... hair is soft, sunbleached, wind ruffled....
Look around the place while you write, what does your main character see? Is she in a room or somewhere outside? Are there smells, what does she hear? How does she feel?
The world is not black and white and neither are characters and relationships.... :)
I dont want to force you into anything, these are only suggestions...
